Fonner Park: 'Missy' defends title


Missy Can Do returns to defend her title in the $10,000 Bold Accent Stakes, facing eight others in the half-mile dash around the far turn of Fonner's five-eighth-mile oval.

Jim Cranwell will saddle Carson's Rumor, who might have the speed to go with Missy Can Do, although this will be her stakes debut. Carson's Rumor is a perfect 2 for 2 at this distance over Fonner's surface. Chris Fiegen rides from post 1.

will make her seasonal debut for trainer Brian Roberts and appears the strongest of the stalkers.

Shesaidsheknowsya should be just off the leaders when moving through the turn. A strong stretch run can be expected of Shesaidsheknowsya, who looks to improve on her 5-2-2 career mark from 10 starts.
