GRAND ISLAND, Neb. - Leading trainer David Anderson sends out a a powerful three-pronged attack of Real Intrusion, Sandpit Dancer, and Sundayblummer for the $25,000-added Orphan Kist Handicap for Nebraska-bred fillies and mares.

Real Intrusion won this race a year ago while Sandpit Dancer captured the six-furlong Orphan Kist in 2002. Sundayblummer was a multiple stakes winner last year as a 3-year-old. The trio will race uncoupled in the wagering.

Leading rider Perry Compton took the mount on Real Intrusion off a good second in the half-mile Bold Accent Handicap here opening weekend. Breaking from post 4, Real Intrusion should be able to sit off the early pace and make her run in stretch.

Sandpit Dancer breaks from post 8 with Jerry Carkeek. Sundayblummer drew post 7 with Vicki Warhol to ride. Sandpit Dancer just missed by a neck against $10,000 claiming company two weeks ago and should be primed for a solid front-running effort. Her lone win of an abbreviated 2003 campaign came against $20,000 optional claiming company.

Sundayblummer posted stakes wins in the Fonner Park Special Stakes and the Inaugural and Columbus Breeders' Special at Columbus on the way to being named the state's top 3-year-old at last weekend's Nebraska Thoroughbred Breeders' Banquet.

Flaming Night overcame traffic at the break of the Bold Accent to rally for third and has a chance with Dennis Collins aboard from post 1 for trainer Brian Roberts.

Cassa's Affair won her maiden in her career debut last year for trainer Stan Mankin, then captured allowance races here and at Canterbury Park before going on the shelf in late May. She has been training well and has Curtis Kimes named to ride from post 2.
