INDIAN FLARE may have been aided by a speed-favoring track when earning a 101 Beyer Speed Figure at Saratoga two starts back, but she might have been compromised by another speed track when chasing the classy Dubai Escapade in the Grade 1 Ballerina on August 27. A lightly-raced stalker trainer by Bobby Frankel, Indian Flare draws a nice outside post position for the Floral Park, and may gain first run on pacesetters WIN McCOOL and PRETTY IMPOSING going into the turn. She should be prominent when the field turns for home at a decent price.

GRECIAN LOVER was compromised by speed-favoring tracks in her last two races, and Allen Jerkens will put the blinkers back on this daughter of Friendly Lover. Three of Grecian Lover's four career victories have come with blinkers, and she's capable of throwing out a 97 Beyer on her best day. Expect jockey Mike Smith to find a decent spot stalking the leaders while saving ground down the backstretch. Grecian Lover will offer value, and is worth a look in exotics and multi-race wagers.

Draw a line through WIN McCOOL's non-effort in the Grade 1 Test. She completely missed the start, and that took her out of her element right away. She is simply a need-the-lead type, and she figures to make the front in the Floral Park with an alert start. Her Beyer Speed Figures are in decline, however, and the three-year-old will face battle-tested older runners on Saturday.

STORMY KISS has good speed, but draws outside Win McCool, and may have to rate just a tad. The cutback to six furlongs should work in her favor.

SWAP FLIPAROO took advantage of a rail-skimming ride and a fast pace to win the Grade 1 Test, and now steps back up against older horses. She has a potent stretch kick, but has yet to reach the Belmont winner's circle after seven attempts. She may prefer to go a bit farther than six furlongs.

GREAT INTENTIONS has some solid handicapping angles going for her. She goes turf to dirt in the second start of the form cycle, and is perfect over the Belmont main track. She's another stalker that may fall into a good trip at a solid price.

FOR ALL WE KNOW has significant ability, but her career has been derailed by layoffs on several occasions, and she's only raced twice since the 2005 Alabama.

1. Indian Flare
2. Grecian Lover
3. Win McCool
