Fleeta Dif takes JEH Stallion Station

Fleeta Dif ($37.80) led a longshot sweep of the first three places in the $50,000 JEH Stallion Station Stakes at Lone Star Park on Saturday when she won the six and a half furlong race for statebreds by a neck over 48-1 shot Leona's Lies. It was another three lengths back in third to 36-1 shot Sly Kona. The 10-9 exacta paid $1,103 and the 10-9-6 trifecta paid $27,223.

Coastalota, who was chasing her third straight win in the JEH, ran an even race and finished seventh.

Fleeta Dif sat in third early in the JEH while Lauren Lynn led the field through an opening four furlongs in 44.62 seconds. Fleeta Dif took the lead in the stretch, opened up by two lengths, then held off a late charging Leona's Lies. Fleeta Dif covered the distance over a fast track in 1:16.16.

Rita Helton rode the winner for trainer Tom Warren, who also bred the mare and co-owns her with his wife, Patricia Warren.

Fleeta Dif earned $30,000 for the win, which was her third in a stakes and fourth overall from 14 starts. Her earnings now stand at $108,530. Fleeta Dif is a 5-year-old daughter of Hadif.
