ELMONT, N.Y. - Fantastic Light, Europe's top older horse, scored his fourth Grade/Group 1 race of the year with a course record-setting win in the $2 million Breeders' Cup Turf at 1 1/2 miles Saturday at Belmont Park.

Fantastic Light, owned by Godolphin Racing and trained by Saeed bin Suroor, sat a perfect ground-saving trip just off a solid early-pace set by With Anticipation, and charged to the lead to score in a time of 2:24.36 on a firm turf course under jockey Frankie Dettori.

Fellow European invader Milan made a late charge through the lane but fell three-quarters of a length short of the win. It was another 5 3/4 lengths back to Timboroa in third. With Anticipation, the second-favorite in the field of 11, finished seventh.

Fantastic Light paid $4.80 to win as the 7-5 post time favorite. The win adds to the impressive resume of Fantastic Light, which already includes victories in the G1-Irish Champion Stakes, the G1-Prince of Wales's Stakes, and the G1-Tattersalls Gold Cup in 2001.
