Financingavailable an easy winner in Jammed Lovely Stakes

ETOBICOKE, Ontario - Financingavailable, purchased privately here this summer by owner K.K. Sangara, was a runaway winner of Sunday's $160,350 here at Woodbine.

Ridden by leading jockey Todd Kabel, who was recording his fifth winner of the afternoon, Financingavailable took the lead almost immediately and set a comfortable pace en route to completing the seven furlongs in 1:23.12.

Flashy Anna rallied from last place in the field of six Canadian-bred 3-year-old fillies to finish second, 7 3/4 lengths behind Financingavailable, with Hong Kong Dancer another 3.25 lengths back in third after chasing the winner through the final turn.

Duet, Search the Church and El Tara completed the order of finish.

"I let her do her own thing and she did it well," said Kabel, who was riding Financingavailable for the first time. "I'm very impressed."

Financingavailable, an Ontario-sired filly trained by Lorne Richards, returned $2.60 and keyed an exactor of $6.30 and a miniscule triactor of $13.40.

Unstarted at 2, Financingavailable was winning her first stakes and her fourth career race from 10 outings while boosting her bankroll to $294,151.
