Meadow Vespers, who has won four Michigan Sire Stakes, won an allowance at this distance two weeks ago at Thistledown after rallying to be third in the Wolverine. He will be asked to tote high weight of 122 pounds, including jockey Ivan Gonzalez.

Leading trainer Robert Gorham has entered three in the race. Bishop Casey and My First Buck will race coupled in the wagering. Gorham also entered Rhythm in Motion.

Bishop Casey beat Fiery Lake in last year's Mackinac Handicap and is looking for his first win this season. Leading rider Jeffrey Skerrett has the mount on Bishop Casey, while Freddie Mata rides My First Buck

Jareth Loveberry, who began his career at Great Lakes Downs, travels from Presque Isle for his first local mount, which comes aboard All I Can Get.
