Feel the Moment heads feature

Feel the Moment looks like the one to beat in Wednesday's feature race at Northlands. The 6 1/2-furlong sprint for 3-year-olds running for a top claiming price of $25,000 drew six horses and goes as the seventh race.

Feel the Moment should appreciate the move back to a sprint. Trained by Robertino Diodoro, Feel the Moment won back-to-back races going 6 1/2 furlongs and then finished fourth and fifth when he stretched out to a middle distance in the Ky Alta and Count Latham Stakes.

In his last start, he finished fourth going a mile in a $25,000 claiming race on Sept. 18.

Also cutting back to the distance after a failed mile outing will be Wired Two Twenty. Trained by Albert Strumecki, he faded to finish fifth after setting the early pace in that same Sept. 18 claimer. Just a week before that he had scored a neck victory at the same level going 6 1/2 furlongs after a race-long duel around the Northlands oval.
