Favorites sweep divisions of Jersey Futurity

Heavy favorites A Dynamite Time ($4.20) and Love That Dance ($2.40) swept the two divisions of the New Jersey Futurity at the Meadowlands.

Both races were worth $60,000 and were contested at six furlongs over a muddy, sealed track.

In the open division, Carlos Marquez Jr. guided A Dynamite Time to a 1 1/4-length victory over Trust Luc.

A Dynamite Time's win marked the second stakes victory in eight days for offspring of the Golden Dome Stable's broodmare Heckuva Time. A Dynamite Time's 4-year-old half-sister, Heckuva Good Time, won the Witches Brew on Oct. 31. Both winners are trained by Mark Shuman.

In the fillies division, Love That Dance cruised to a five-length victory over 21-1 longshot Easta Monsta.

Love That Dance, ridden by Joe Bravo for trainer Ben Perkins Jr., has now won her last two starts by a combined margin of 12 3/4 lengths.

The filly Love That Dance ran the six furlongs in 1:10.65, a half-second faster than the colt A Dynamite Time, who covered the distance in 1:11.20.
