Favorites much the best

EmailHeavy favorites Secretintelligence ($2.60) and Adorable Jane ($4.20) dominated both of the $75,000, six-furlong restricted stakes at Delaware Park.

The 4-year-old colt Secretintelligence, ridden by Carlos Marquez Jr. for trainer Tim Ritchey, outdueled last year's winner, Scary Bob, and drew off to a two-length score in the Delaware Certified.

It was the fourth consecutive victory and second stakes for Secretintelligence, a much improved horse who was a distant fifth of six in this same stakes last October. He was timed in 1:10.31 following swift, contested fractions of 21.79 and 44.78 seconds.

Cayman Condo rallied to get second, a neck in front of Just Don.

Scary Bob, who gave way in upper stretch, faded to fourth. Magical Gem, who won this race in 2005 and was third last year, finished last of five.

In the Delaware Certified Distaff, the 3-year-old filly Adorable Jane improved to 3 for 3 since coming to Richard Dutrow Jr.'s barn in July with her 7 1/4-length score in 1:10.15. She was never seriously threatened under Kendrick Carmouche while setting fractions of 22.84 and 45.85 seconds.

Carolina Fuego, the 7-5 second choice in a field of six, was second with 27-1 longshot Kittery Point third.
