Hear the Chatter cruised to a 6 1/4-length victory Saturday in the Tri-State Futurity at Charles Town.

Heavy favorites swept both divisions of the 46th Tri-State Futurity at Charles Town on Saturday night.

Hear the Chatter easily captured his third straight stakes, cruising to a 6 1/4-length score in the open division that was worth $67,625. In winning for the fourth time in five starts, Hear the Chatter ($3) ran seven furlongs under Gerard Almodovar in 1:25.85. The gelded son of Mass Media is trained by John Casey for Kristy Petty.

One More Time finished second behind his uncoupled stablemate, just like he did in last month’s Vince Moscarelli. It was another 3 3/4 lengths back to Sir A.J. Munnings, who outfought Too Much to Do by a head for third.

In the $65,075 fillies division, Maryland-based Sara Rocks ($3.20), with Jevian Toledo aboard for trainer Robby Bailes and owner Karen Benshoff, overcame a wide trip on the first turn to score by 4 1/4 lengths. She covered seven furlongs in 1:29.40 to win for the second time in six starts.

Mint to Fly was second at 25-1, three-quarters of a length in front of Just a Real Cat, the second choice at 7-2.
