ETOBICOKE, Ontario - Odds-on favorite Ghost Fleet outran a persistent filly, Jenny's So Great, to capture the $169,350 for 2-year-olds at Woodbine Sunday.

Ghost Fleet stalked the leaders on the outside, before hooking up with Jenny's So Great at the eighth pole. Ghost Fleet maintained a neck advantage throughout the final furlong, and prevailed by that margin, in a time of 1:23.20 for the seven furlongs. He paid $2.70.

Turf Melody finished a distant third, and was followed by Clear Turbulence and pacemaker Suffoncified.

Todd Kabel rode Ghost Fleet for trainer Sid Attard.

"He broke good, and when Todd called on him for some run, he gave it to him," said Attard. "You have to give the filly a lot of credit. She ran a very good race."

Ghost Fleet, now 3 for 3 on the Polytrack, earned $103,500 for Jim Dandy Stable.

* In Sunday's supporting feature, Yummy With Butter ($6.90) won his first stakes by a nose over Stray Cat Stride in the $126,200 Overskate.

With Tyler Pizarro riding for trainer Mark Fournier, Yummy With Butter covered seven furlongs on the Polytrack in 1:22.15.
