Fasig-Tipton Kentucky fall selected mixed sale: Horses to watch

The following are horses to watch in the 2016 Fasig-Tipton Kentucky selected fall mixed sale based on their pedigrees, produce records, race records, and past auction performance of notable family members.

Conformation, physical characteristics, veterinarian records, and late pedigree updates were not taken into consideration. This list reflects catalog updates through Oct. 19. The sale will be conducted Monday, Nov. 7, at Fasig-Tipton’s Newtown Paddocks in Lexington, Ky.

Hip 10, b. f., 2016, Bernardini—Orchardof the Nile, by Empire Maker, consigned by Four Star Sales, agent

The second foal out of the unraced Orchardof the Nile, who is a full sister to Grade 1 winner Pioneerof the Nile.

Hip No. 23, ch. c., 2016, Curlin—Almonsoon, by Giant’s Causeway, consigned by Bluewater Sales, agent

Grade 3-placed stakes winner Almonsoon is the dam of one winner from two foals to race and is a sibling to Grade 1 winner Geri, Grade 2 winner A. P. Arrow, and stakes winner Clure.
