Farish, Hunt to join Texas Hall


William Farish and Nelson Bunker Hunt will be inducted into the Texas Horse Racing Hall of Fame at a ceremony at Lone Star Park near Dallas on Oct. 23.

Ben Hudson and the late Anne Burnett Tandy, who both have been leaders in the Quarter Horse industry, will also be inducted into the Texas Hall, at a separate ceremony at Sam Houston Race Park on Aug. 14.

Farish is the owner of Lane's End, a breeding operation with divisions in both Kentucky and Texas. Hunt is a multiple Eclipse Award-winner who resides in Dallas. Hudson is the founder and publisher of Track Magazine, and Tandy owned the 6666 Ranch and founded the American Quarter Horse Heritage Center and Museum.
