Jockey Kieran Fallon was denied a temporary restraining order by a Cook County Circuit Court judge on Thursday, ending a final attempt to ride on Saturday at Arlington Park. Fallon was banned from riding in England after being charged with conspiracy to defraud in a case involving online wagering on English races. Fallon, however, still possesses an Irish jockey's license and has been riding in jurisdictions other than England. He was denied a license, however, by the Illinois Racing Board on Wednesday. Still, Fallon flew to Chicago on Thursday in hopes of receiving a temporary restraining order that would have permitted him to ride Ace in the Million and Ivan Denisovich in the Secretariat, but he returned to Ireland after failing to receive a favorable court ruling.
