For the second straight year, Lady Riss won the Bungalow Handicap for Illinois-bred fillies and mares at Fairmount Park. She won the race last Saturday, the same night that her younger half-sister Icy Mocha scored in a second-level allowance. Both Lady Riss, by Unreal Zeal, and Icy Mocha, by Alaskan Frost, race for their breeder, Dana Waier.

Lady Riss earned a Beyer Speed Figure of 88 for her Bungalow win, 2 points short of her career best.

* The sharpest 3-year-old filly on the grounds might be Dee Jean, who registered her fourth consecutive win of the meet Tuesday in a third-level allowance at six furlongs. She was still a maiden after five starts when the meet began, and then finished second in her meet debut before commencing her current win streak. Her average margin of victory during the streak has been nearly five lengths.

* Roberto Villafan, who rode at Fairmount earlier in the meet, recently returned to riding at the track full time. Despite spending most of the past several months riding at Indiana Downs and Great Lakes Downs, Villafan remained among the top 10 riders at Fairmount by number of wins.
