Fairmount Park track report

Harkey Malarky appears to have the $4,000 starter allowance division at Fairmount Park at his mercy for the foreseeable future after posting another easy victory on last Friday's card.

Harkey Malarky, who earned an 88 Beyer Speed Figure winning a starter allowance by five lengths on March 25, replicated that winning margin Friday to stay undefeated in three starts this year. He is trained by Mike Nance.

* Jockey Luis Robletto may be too far back in the standings to contend for leading rider honors, but few in the colony have enjoyed as productive a day this meet as he did last Saturday. Robletto, who had ridden only one winner from 13 mounts prior to Saturday's card, collected four wins with Joe Dancer Too ($5.40), Lift Up ($16.20), Everything Wild ($12), and Temptation Eyes ($18.80).

* Mr. Canyon Run, an Illinois-bred 3-year-old who was winless in three starts since taking the Troy Our Boy Stakes at Fairmount last September, got back on the winning track Tuesday with a comfortable two-length win in second-level allowance.
