Fab Faux to play at benefit 'Bash'

The Fab Faux, an acclaimed Beatles tribute band, will provide the musical entertainment Thursday night at Belmont Park's annual charity event to benefit the Grayson-Jockey Club Research Foundation and World Hunger Year.

The event, formerly known as the Belmont Ball, has been renamed the Belmont Bash and will be held at the Hard Rock Caf? in Times Square with cocktails, dinner, an auction, and a Fab Faux concert.

The Grayson-Jockey Club Research Foundation is a leader in providing grants for equine medical research. World Hunger Year was founded by the former talk show host Bill Ayres and the late singer Harry Chapin to fight hunger and poverty.

Tickets for the event, at $350 per person, are available by contacting Nancy Kelly of The Jockey Club at 212-521-5305.
