The Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association will host an auction seminar for potential Thoroughbred buyers at 8:30 a.m. Friday at Keeneland in Lexington, Ky. The seminar, which costs $50 and will take place on the dark day during Keeneland's September yearling sale, will cover such topics as pre- and post-purchase information, veterinary exams, how to bid, auction etiquette, and the Sales Integrity Program. . . . Teresa Mc, California-bred 3-year-old filly of the year in 1991 after winning the Cal Cup Matron and Grade 3 La Brea Stakes, has died of a ruptured artery at Harris Farms. The 17-year-old mare earned $302,945, won eight races, and produced three winners from four foals to race. . . . Donald Lee West, a jockey in Kentucky and New Orleans during the late 1940's and later a blacksmith, died Sept. 4 in Apollo Beach, Fla. He was 74. . . . Jockey Danush Sukie had four victories at Fairmount Park on Tuesday.
