Dusty Screen (Silent Screen-Azulejos, by Buckfinder) will relocate in 2002 from Kentucky's Crestwood Farm to Our Farm in Norristown, Pa. A 13-year-old stallion, sire of stakes-placed It's a Dusty Beauty, he will stand for $1,500. . . . Muakaad, sixth behind Silvano in the Arlington Million, has been euthanized after breaking a leg in a training accident three weeks ago at The Curragh. A 4-year-old son of Muhtarram bred and owned by Hamdan Al Maktoum's Shadwell Farm and trained by Dermot Weld, Muakaad won six of 12 starts for trainer earnings of $194,274. . . . Guy Lyon, a trainer for 30 years on the New Jersey circuit, died Friday at 68. A memorial service is planned for Lyon next July at Monmouth Park, where he trained a small string of horses this year. . . . Tony Chavez, who as a trainer gave jockey Laffit Pincay Jr., his 8,000th winner on El Toreo at Del Mar in 1993, died last week in El Monte, Calif., at age 77. Chavez, retired from training in March 2000. . . . Anita Capitumini, a bookkeeper and waitress on the Southern California circuit, died Wednesday at age 43 after a lengthy illness. A funeral will be held in Boston, and a memorial service in Southern California in the future.
