Ellis Park will cut purses 15 percent across the board beginning Wednesday. Also, two stakes - the Governor's Handicap and Tri-State Handicap - have had their purses reduced from $75,000 to $50,000. . . . A fund-raiser to help Shannon Campbell, the 34-year-old jockey paralyzed from the waist down after being thrown from her mount last month, will be held at Charles Town Races on Aug. 13. A donation booth set up on the track apron will be staffed by jockeys and friends of Campbell. . . . Canterbury Park will host a fund-raising dinner Sunday, Aug. 21, to aid construction of a chapel on the track's backstretch. Two Hall of Fame jockeys - the recently retired Pat Day and Sandy Hawley - will be in attendance. . . Stakes-placed Werblin will relocate from Reigle Heir Farms in Pennsylvania to Hartley/DeRenzo Thoroughbreds in Ocala, Fla., in 2006. . . . Turf Paradise has named Eugene Joyce as its new general manager. Joyce, 46, comes to Turf Paradise from Lone Star Park.
