John Rasmussen, a former manager at Margaux Farm in Kentucky, will take the position of general manager at Live Oak Stud in Ocala, Fla., according to a Thoroughbred Times report. Rasmussen had managed Margaux since 2000. . . . An online auction will be held from Sept. 1-15 to help pay for health care for Jan Michael, grandson of Philadelphia-based trainer Don White.
