Rare Gift, a 4-year-old daughter of Unbridled's Song out of Rare Blend, was injured in Saturday's Fleur de Lis Handicap, in which she ran third at Churchill Downs, and has been retired from racing. She will be reside at Lane's End Farm, where plans call for her to be bred to A.P. Indy in 2006. . . . Electrocutionist, winner of Sunday's Gran Premio di Milano, will venture outside Italy for the first time to run in England in either the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Diamond Stakes on July 23 or the Juddmonte International on Aug. 16. Trainer Valfredo Valiani said that the ultimate goal for Electrocutionist will be the Breeders' Cup Turf. . . . Jockey Rafael Hernandez had four consecutive wins Tuesday in the middle of Fairmount Park's card, prevailing in the fourth through seventh races. . . . Charla Ann King was named executive director of the Texas Racing Commission on Wednesday. She replaces Paula Flowerday.
