Secret History opened York's classic prep meeting Wednesday with an impressive five-length victory in the $112,800, Group 3 Musidora Stakes. Secret History (4-1) led throughout the 1 1/4 miles, 88 yards, quickening clear under Joe Fanning at the three-eighths pole to defeat Quickfire while Mona Lisa, the 11-10 favorite, was fourth, beaten 13 1/2 lengths. . . . The English Oaks favorite, Kitty O'Shea, will miss the 1 1/2-mile Epsom classic on June 3 because of a lack of preparation, trainer Aiden O'Brien said Tuesday . . . . Smarty Jones, winner of the 2004 Kentucky Derby and Preakness, will be the subject of the Outdoor Life Network's biography series "Fearless" on Saturday at 10 p.m. Eastern.
