Hidden Brook Farm has purchased 117 acres from the former Highland Farm near Paris, Ky., to bring its total land to 585 acres, according to Hidden Brook's managing partner, Sergio de Sousa. Hidden Brook was established in 2002 to offer sales preparation and representation, boarding, and bloodstock consultation. . . . Scientific Games Inc., the largest bet-processing company in the United States and a major lottery equipment supplier, had net income of $61 million in 2004, compared with $44.5 million in 2003. Net income from the company's parimutuel operations in 2004 was $12.6 million, down from $14.6 million in 2003.
