Portland Meadows canceled its nine-race card scheduled for Saturday afternoon after an ice storm created treacherous road conditions that prevented fans and horsemen from reaching the track. The temperature was expected to rise overnight, and the track planned to race Sunday and Monday as scheduled. . . . Saratoga Six, sire of Grade 1 winner Toga Toga Toga, has moved from Walmac Farm in Lexington, Ky., to JEH Stallion Station in Hondo, N.M., for the 2005 season.

. . . Sheilah Moore Rathbun, who with her husband, Henry, operated a successful breeding and racing business, died at age 81 in Arlington, Va., Friday of complications from emphysema. She is survived by her husband, a son, two daughters, a brother, and two grandsons. . . . Churchill Downs has named Stacey Meier as the track's director of marketing. Meier, most recently marketing director of the Churchill Downs Simulcast Network, had also been director of marketing services at Hoosier Park. . . .
