Former jockey Joey Cuffari, who rode at Eastern tracks in the 1950's and 1960's, died Nov. 7 of heart complications at age 71. Memorial services are scheduled for Sunday at 1 p.m. at Palm Springs Mortuary in Cathedral City, Calif. . . . Griffinite, winner of the Grade 3 Lafayette Stakes in 2001, will relocate to Metropolitan Stud in Pine Plains, N.Y, in 2005, the farm has announced. A 6-year-old Unbridled's Song-Copious (In Reality) horse, Griffinite will stand for $4,000 live foal after having stood the 2004 season at Center Brook Farm in New York. . . . The Minnesota Racing Commission has approved a 69-day live racing schedule for Canterbury Park in 2005. The meet, the track's longest since it reopened in 1995, will begin May 7 and run through Labor Day, Sept. 5.
