Friday's Woodbine card was canceled after two of nine scheduled races when the jockeys voted to stop riding because of high winds gusting in excess of 45 mph. . . . After daylong rain and deteriorating weather conditions, racing at The Meadowlands was canceled after the fourth race Thursday night. Live racing was scheduled to resume Friday night. . . .To make up for dates lost last month because of poor track conditions, Charles Town will add seven Tuesday cards and two Monday programs (Nov. 22 and Dec. 22) in November and December. Starting Nov. 9, the track will be open Tuesdays through Dec. 28 with the exception of Dec. 7. . . . . Gary Wilfert, currently the senior state steward at Hoosier Park, has been named an association steward for Oaklawn Park's 2005 meet. Wilfert, the former general manager of Turfway Park, has served as a steward at a number of Midwest tracks. . . .The Kentucky Equine Management Internship Program and the Race for Education have reduced the entry fee from $1,000 to $500 for their Nov. 6 charity poker tournament in Lexington, Ky.
