The Emirates Racing Association has announced that its "Pearls of Dubai" auction will take place Oct. 13 at the Dubai World Cup Quarantine Center in the United Arab Emirates. The auction will offer 57 horses, both 2-year-old Northern Hemisphere runners and

3-year-old Southern Hemisphere runners. . . . Fox Farm, the Pennsylvania nursery owned by the late Adele Paxson, has been put on the real estate market. The 74-acre farm, which is listed for $1.55 million with Kurfiss Real Estate in Bucks County, Pa., includes an 18-stall barn, pastures, and run-in sheds, and a four-bedroom farmhouse. Adele Paxson, who died in December 2000, won the Eclipse Award in 1980 as North America's

outstanding breeder.
