Kentucky Derby winner Unbridled, who underwent surgery last week to remove three feet of his large bowel, does not have cancer, according to tests conducted at the Livestock Disease Diagnostic Lab in Lexington. Claiborne Farm manager Gus Koch said the 14-year-old Unbridled could return from Lexington's Hagyard Davidson McGee clinic later this week. . . . Owner Ernie Paragallo has pledged multi-year seasons to stallions Artax and Unbridled's Song, with a guaranteed value of $1 million, to NTRA Charities' New York Heroes Fund, which will benefit the families of rescue workers and others who perished in the Sept. 11 terrorist attack in New York.
