The Ocala Breeders' Sales Company will conduct under-tack shows Saturday and Sunday for its 2-year-old auction next Tuesday and Wednesday, with the shows starting each day at 8 a.m. in Ocala, Fla. Hip Nos. 1 to 266 will breeze Saturday, Hip Nos. 267 to 533 on Sunday. . . . Chance Rollins, currently tied for fifth in the Bay Meadows jockey standings, was expected to miss two or three days after spraining his right wrist in a fall when his mount, Reds Pal, propped badly in the first turn of a $40,000 claiming race Wednesday. X-rays were negative. . . . The Kentucky World Trade Center will honor Sheikh Hamdan al Maktoum, owner of Shadwell Farm near Lexington, Ky., with induction into the group's 2004 Book of Honor for what it termed "his promotion of world peace through trade initiatives." Also honored by the trade group will be the Kentucky Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders organization, and Charles T. Creech, Inc., a Lexington-based hay and bedding supplier, both for developing international trade. . . . A total of 281 horses were nominated to this year's Claiming Crown July 17 at Canterbury Park. The six-race, $550,000 Claiming Crown is limited to runners who have started at least once in the last year for claiming prices from $5,000 to $25,000.
