A bill that would allow the establishment of an account-wagering hub in Kentucky passed in an amended version in the state's Senate late Friday, the last day of the state's legislative session, according to Nick Nicholson, the president of the Keeneland Association. It was unclear if the bill would be brought up in the House before the legislature adjourned. . . . Canterbury Park Holding Corp., operator of the racetrack and card room, reported net income of $2,870,130 (on revenue of $47.8 million) for 2003, a 26 percent increase from its 2002 net income of $2,276,595 (on revenue of $41.7 million). Parimutuel revenue rose 2.8 percent for the year.
