Three juveniles shared the fastest eighth-mile time of 10.20 seconds in last weekend's final under-tack show for the March 16-17 Ocala Breeders' Sales Company's 2-year-old sale in Ocala, Fla. They were Hip No. 137, a Good and Tough-Erv's Duck filly; Hip No. 144, a Gilded Time-Excellence filly; and Hip No. 287, a Chief Seattle-Miss Virginia colt. . . . Lil's Lad, winner of the 1998 Fountain of Youth, has relocated from Lane's End in Kentucky to Pennsylvania. Advertised at Lane's End this year with a $10,000 fee, Lil's Lad will stand at Judith Barrett's Godstone Farm in Pine Grove, Pa., for $3,500. . . . Notonetoquit, a 3-year-old winner from the estate of John Franks, brought $70,000 to top a paddock auction at Evangeline Downs on Sunday. Dustin Vaughn of L & D Farm bought the colt, one of 140 horses sold for total receipts of $1.5 million, an average of $10,714.
