Jockey Eusebio Razo Jr. rode the 2,000th winner of his career in Friday's second race at Hawthorne aboard Shadoc ($2.60). Razo, 37, is currently the leading rider at Hawthorne. . . . Botanic, a 14-year-old stallion, was euthanized Friday morning because of founder, Spendthrift Farm announced. A Juddmonte homebred, Botanic (Mr. Prospector-Zaizafon) sired 22 winners from 34 starters. . . . Stuart Zanville has been fired as the director of marketing and public relations at Santa Anita. The track's marketing is now being overseen by Michael Ziegler, who recently served as an administrator for the Oak Tree Racing Association.
