L'Agence Francaise's Deauville three-day December mixed auction in France ended Monday with $8,205,720 in total receipts for 400 lots, including the $280,600 sale-topping Bering mare Bayberry, whom Darley Stud sold to Brookdale Farm (Alex Scrope, agent). The auction's average was $20,514. . . . Carl and Olivia Cannata's Lakeview Farm in California has been sold to developers and will disperse 60 to 65 horses at the Barretts January mixed sale in Pomona, Calif., on Jan. 26-27. The consignment, a complete dispersal, will include broodmares, yearlings, juveniles, and horses of racing age.
