Apprentice Kris Prather won the first race at Ellis Park on Sunday, the 22-year-old's first day of riding since injuring her shoulder June 13. Prather, who led the nation in races won before injuring a knee March 17, has 115 wins this year. . . . Jockey Bobby Walker Jr. won five races from six mounts at Canterbury Park Friday night. It was the fourth time in his career that Walker has won five races on a card. . . . Colonial Downs Inc. had a net loss of $560,000 in the second quarter of 2001, or 8 cents a share, the company said on Monday, compared with a loss of $328,000 in the second quarter last year. Revenues in the quarter were $7,232,000 compared with last year's $6,975,000.
