Graded stakes producer Cherokee Frolic, dam of graded stakes-winners Fabulous Frolic and Lindsay Frolic, was euthanized Wednesday at the age of 23. Cherokee Frolic (Cherokee Fellow-Fauchon, by Final Ruling) won the Grade 2 Test and Grade 3 Railbird Stakes. She suffered from complications related to laminitis and was euthanized at The Acorn Farm in Ocala, Fla. . . . Dogwood Stables' Gone Fishin, winner of last year's Grade 3 Jaipur Handicap, has been retired from racing. No stud plans have been announced for the 5-year-old Honor Grades colt, who is out of Exangular Lady (Exuberant). . . . Steve Molnar, an executive vice president of Youbet.com who co-founded the computer-based horserace wagering company five years ago, has resigned, the company said Friday. The company has no plans to name a successor. . . . The Texas Stallion Stakes Series has been restructured, and starting next year the program will offer four races - each with separate sex divisions - worth a cumulative $1 million. This year the program paid out about $375,000.
