Etc. . .

Vivienne Jones, former editor and publisher of the International Thoroughbred Digest, died last Saturday at age 68, apparently of a heart attack, following a long series of treatments for ulcerative colitis. A longtime resident of Newmarket, Ontario, Jones came to Canada from England along with her husband, Phil, in 1957. . . . David Rollinson will be leaving his position as stakes coordinator for the Maryland Jockey Club at the end of the month to concentrate on his bloodstock business. Rollinson, who worked at Pimlico and Laurel Park for 10 years, will be replaced by Wendy Pensivy.
