Television Games Network was launched on digital cable systems in Bakersfield, Calif., and Santa Barbara, Calif., on Tuesday, the company announced, bringing the horse racing network's total distribution to 12 million households. The two latest cable systems are owned by Cox Communications, which has launched TVG on other systems in San Diego, Orange County, Calif., and Ocala, Fla. . . . Abderian has been disqualified from his victory in the Keith Brodkin Memorial Stakes June 21 at Suffolk Downs after a postrace drug test revealed the presence of Acepromazine, a relaxant often used when shipping horses. Abderian's trainer, Maryland-based Ben Feliciano Jr., was suspended 15 days beginning Thursday and fined $250, and the runner-up, Glick, was credited with the victory.
