Magna Entertainment announced Thursday that it has signed an agreement with NBC-TV to carry the Sunshine Millions, an event inaugurated in January pitting Florida-breds against California-breds, for the next three years. . . . Jockey Heberto Castillo Jr. won his 2,000th race aboard Letthefreedomroar in Belmont Park's third race on Thursday. Castillo, 33, rode his first winner in 1986 at Jefferson Downs in Louisiana. . . . D'wildcat, winner of last year's Grade 1 Frank De Francis Memorial Dash, has retired from racing to begin his stud career at Windfields Farm in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. Windfields, which will stand D'wildcat in partnership with David Shimmon's Fog City Stables, has not yet announced a fee.
