Jockey Curt Bourque won his 3,000th career race Sunday at Hawthorne, riding Golden Glacken to victory in the fourth race. Bourque, 35, began riding in 1984 at Evangeline Downs and won his first race later that year at Jefferson Downs. . . . Ronnie Gabriel, 52, who returned to race-riding late last year after a dozen years working as a trainer and in racing offices, had the first winner since his return, aboard Family Covenant ($40.40) in Monday's third race at Hawthorne.
