Noverre, the only classic winner this year from Godolphin Racing, has officially had that victory - the Poule d'Essai des Poulains (French 2000 Guineas) - stripped from him because of a raceday positive for the arthritis medication methylprednisolene. The Racing Post reported that Noverre's trainer, Saeed bin Suroor, was fined $13,400 for the finding, and the race was awarded to Vahorimix. . . . Chip Campbell has been named the National Thoroughbred Racing Association's senior vice president for television and sponsorship, a newly created position.
