A $35,000 Wekiva Springs mare, Ha Pa Da, in foal to Allen's Prospect, topped Sunday's single-session Fasig-Tipton Midlantic winter mixed sale in Timonium, Md., going to Barbara J. Belotti from the Charlton agency's consignment. Overall, the auction posted steep declines, selling 107 lots for $474,400 (down 47 percent from last year, when 123 sold) for an average of $4,434 (a 40 percent decline) and median of $3,000 (down 29 percent). . . . A Gold Fever filly out of So Oblivious (Tasso) worked a quarter-mile in 21.20 seconds Sunday for the day's fastest work at the distance for the Ocala Breeders' Sales Company's Feb. 4 juvenile sale at Calder. Two fillies, one by In Excess out of Dealinwiththedevil and the other by Exploit out of Valid Bonnet, posted the fastest eighth-mile work of 10.40 seconds, and a Doneraile Court-Cryptic Madam colt worked the fastest three-eighths in 34.80 seconds.
