Harriet Jones, who with her late husband, Warner L. Jones Jr., the longtime chairman of Churchill Downs, was a prominent Thoroughbred breeder, died unexpectedly Wednesday at her home in Louisville at age 84. Funeral arrangements were incomplete on Wednesday evening. . . . Premiere Radio Networks has won this year's Media Eclipse Award for audio/multimedia internet coverage of Thoroughbred racing, the National Thoroughbred Racing Association announced Wednesday. Premiere Radio won for its broadcast of the 128th Kentucky Derby, produced by Shelby Whitfield, on May 4, 2002.
