Sona Mobile Holdings Corp. and Daily Racing Form have signed an agreement that will allow racing fans to access editorial content and racing information through their cell phones and other wireless devices. Roberts Communications Services, which provides video and information feeds to racetracks, has acquired the racing communications business of Scientific Games Inc., the parimutuel and lottery equipment supplier. In the transaction, Roberts will receive a 70 percent membership interest in Scientific Games's share of the North American Simulcast Racing Information Network, and Scientific Games will receive a 29.4 percent interest in Roberts. . . . A 10-percent increase in Kentucky Thoroughbred Development Fund contributions to purses at Turfway Park went into effect with an 11-race program Friday night. The increase - the second in development fund money since the winter-spring meet began Jan. 1 - is a result of cancellations earlier in the meet and from higher-than-expected in-state wagering levels, the track said in announcing the purse raise.
