Under a schedule almost identical to this year and recently approved by the New Jersey Racing Commission, there will be 147 Thoroughbred racing programs in New Jersey in 2010. Monmouth Park will race 93 days, from May 8 to Sept. 26 - including twilight cards on Fridays in July - the Meadowlands will hold a 48-day meet from Sept. 28 to Dec. 4, and Atlantic City will run six days between April 18-24. . . . The Minnesota Racing Commission has approved a 62-day Thoroughbred and Quarter Horse meet for Canterbury Park in 2010. The season will begin May 14, run through Aug. 29, and is expected to average $127,000 a day in purses. . . . Grade 3 winner Maybry's Boy, whose first foals are weanlings this year, will relocate to Empire Stud in Hudson, N.Y., for 2010. A 10-year-old Broad Brush-Aly's Conquest horse, he will stand on behalf of R.C.H. Stables for a $2,500 fee, the same as he stood for last year at Highcliff Farm in New York. . . . Portland Meadows has moved post time for its first race back five minutes, to 12:40 p.m. Pacific.
