Etc. . . .

Heavy rain that forced the cancellation of Charles Town's live racing program after three races Wednesday night also wiped out Thursday night's card. Penn National also canceled its Thursday evening program because of poor track conditions. . . . SunRay Park in Farmington, N.M., sent its signal out of state last Saturday for the first time since its meet opened April 17 after resolving a dispute with horsemen. The signal had been withheld because the New Mexico Horsemen's Association wanted resolutions or assurances on some operational-related issues, like surface maintenance. . . . Saturday's scheduled running of the $75,000 Raise Your Skirts Stakes at Golden Gate Fields has been canceled. The six-furlong sprint for fillies and mares saw only one runner entered, the multiple stakes winner High Resolve, who is stabled at Golden Gate Fields but has never run there.
