Keeneland Race Course has raised its general admission price from $3 to $5 while offering fans a $10 meet-long pass for the first time. The 15-day spring meet at the Lexington, Ky., track is scheduled for April 3-24. . . . Mike Mulligan, chairman of the National Association of Two-Year-Old Consignors and the seller of a $1.1 million Unbridled's Song colt at Fasig-Tipton's Calder sale Tuesday, has been hospitalized in Miami after fracturing his skull when he lost consciousness and fell that evening. Mulligan, 47, had surgery Wednesday and was in critical but stable condition Thursday afternoon, according his wife, Britt. . . . The state of Kentucky is scaling back festivities related to this year's Kentucky Derby in an effort to save about $200,000, Gov. Steve Beshear announced Wednesday. Changes include a $1-per-item charge at the Derby breakfast in the state capital of Frankfort rather than a free buffet, and elimination of a hired train that ran from Frankfort to Louisville on Derby Day.
