The groom, Bill Schmidt, was found to be working on the Larry Jones-trained Ms Good Cat on race day last week, necessitating a late scratch. . . . Silent Name, a Grade 2 winner and Grade 1-placed runner, will relocate from Adena Springs Kentucky to Gardiner Farm in Ontario, Canada, in 2009. A 7-year-old son of Sunday Silence and the Group 3-winning Danehill mare Danzigaway, he will stand for $5,000. . . . Denali Stud has hired Donnie Snellings, a longtime manager at Mill Ridge Farm, to be its yearling and sales manager. Denali, in Paris, Ky., also has promoted yearling manager Theresa Rhodus to assistant farm manager. . . . A Woodford County, Ky., jury has awarded $47,417 in lost wages to former Bluegrass Bloodstock Agency employee Paula Singer for wrongful termination by her boss, Richard Vimont, the Blood-Horse reported Sunday. But the jury cleared agency owner Rick Trontz of Singer's allegations that he had been involved in insurance fraud. . . .
