Wall, who was 61, had been the rider of Leaping Plum for 3 of that horse's 8 record-setting Grasmick Stakes wins at Fonner Park. . . . Hollywood Park will be without a Japanese runner on July 5, as the Japanese Oaks winner, Tall Poppy, has been ruled out of the American Oaks, and Asian Winds, winner of the Victoria Mile, will not come for the CashCall Mile. . . . Magical Forest ($7.20) held off a stretch bid by 4-5 favorite Ready Set to win Monday's $57,950 Floor Show Stakes for 3-year-olds at Delaware Park by a neck.
